About me
My name is Medea Wildemann.
I am a multi-talented, creative, gentle, empathetic, reliable, and very kind-hearted person.
In my life I have accompanied many people in different phases of life, which I was blessed to get to know on my way.
From the unborn to the very old, whether in the deepest life crisis or on the happiest day of their lives, in everyday life or in extraordinary situations, here or at the other end of the world, at the beginning or at the end of their time on earth … or in the middle of it.
Through these personal encounters and experiences, I was constantly reaffirmed that accompanying, especially accompanying mothers, fathers and their babies, is my passion, my joy and my destiny.
I wish for you that during this unique time in your life you will be safe, strengthened, encouraged, grounded, completely connected to yourself and… should that be your wish, continuously and lovingly supported and cared for.
My philosophy
Every person is unique.
And so, every birth and every expectant family is unique as well.
My core values and attitude are geared towards providing individualized support that is adjusted to your needs as a woman giving birth, strengthening and empowering you to make self-determined, informed decisions and to stay with yourself and your intuition.
I am passionate about helping you feel safe, strong and able to trust yourself and your body fully, especially during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
My concern is that you as mommy, daddy and baby can ultimately take your birth experience with you as a positive and empowering experience on your further journey through life. Even if the birth process did not take the desired direction.
Everyone wants to hold the baby. But who holds the mother?
Not only your baby, but also you as mom and you as a whole family will be newly born.
This unique time will remain unforgettable.
You now have a newborn baby in your arms and the new and complex tasks and changes in your life and body that you are suddenly confronted with
may be very overwhelming and exhausting.
And it’s not just you, but also your partner and the whole family who are adjusting and
finding their place in this new life situation.
It is not human nature to cope with this extraordinary and unique time in your life alone,
and yet this has become the norm nowadays.
In my opinion, preparing for the postpartum period is just as important as preparing for the birth. Because your postpartum experience is also very important and
always forms lasting memories.
What are your ideas about the time after the birth?
What are your wishes?
What do you need? And how can you make sure you get what you need?
My wish for you is that you are continuously and lovingly cared for, nourished, supported and accompanied in the postpartum period. Adjusted to your needs.
So that you are also seen and held.
So that you can keep this time in wonderful memory.
“The postpartum period is not an extra. It is a necessity.”
